Communication, collaboration, attention to detail:
Redmond General Contracting (RGC) provides full service project management and construction of custom residential renovations and additions. We work primarily in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. We bring particular experience in historically sensitive renovation, and in ecologically sound building design and construction. RGC offers design build style services for smaller projects, and we bring years of practical construction experience to fully designed and detailed larger scale projects.
Our work style is highly collaborative: we consider it the role of the contractor to facilitate communication between home owner, design professionals and trades people. The most successful projects result when clients are able to make design and value decisions during the construction, with on point, on time information from experienced design and construction professionals.
In the details: We like to think that our projects exhibit an attention to detail that is more substantial than ornamental. Attention to detail can mean in some cases careful reproduction and repetition of original details. But quite as often, it means updated detail that echoes the original vernacular, but also speaks to contemporary function.
